Involving children in health research: why?

The phrase “The customer is always right” is well known in consumer sales.
But in health research, for a long time the customer has never been asked. This is starting to change and there is now a bigger emphasis on involving patients in research (PPI = patient and public involvement) http://www.invo.org.uk/
However, when patients are children, this can become more complex. However, more complex does not mean we shouldn’t bother! This blog aims to share information around the design and developments of new medicines for children and young people and activities where children and young people can get involved to influence the medicines of tomorrow
